§ 34-497. Manufactured home parks—Applications for approval

  • The planning commission shall grant approval of a planned manufactured home park when all provisions of this section have been met. An application and all accompanying plans and supporting data shall be filed, in triplicate, with the planning commission at least 15 days prior to a regular meeting of the commission. The application shall include the following:

    (1) Name and address of the applicant;

    (2) Location and description of the boundaries of the property proposed for the planned manufactured home park development;

    (3) A complete manufactured home park plan, showing all existing conditions and proposed site development as required in this section, including preliminary plans of all buildings, improvements and facilities constructed within the manufactured home park (on a topographic map);

    (4) Any other information requested by the planning commission to determine the proposed park's compliance with legal requirements, the effect which the proposed park may have on its environment and the compatibility of the adjacent area for park development within the framework of long-range land development objectives;

    (5) The approximate cost for the construction and completion of the manufactured home park, appropriate documentation from the health department and all other related governmental authorities showing that sufficient water and sewerage is available and that these facilities will be available to the occupants of the manufactured home park.
