§ 34-495. Final approval of street improvements

  • Final approval of street improvements shall be granted and streets accepted for maintenance by the county only in accordance with one of the following provisions:

    (1) Said street improvements shall have been completed and in place for a period of one year and shall, upon inspection following such period of time, be found to be free from defective workmanship or material and free from sinkholes or other settling.

    (2) The subdivider deposits surety for the completion of such street improvements as shown on the final plat submitted for final approval as provided in section 34-494 pertaining to surety for completion of improvements, and surety is duly accepted by the commissioner.
