§ 34-196. Findings generally

(a) Controlling the location, design and construction of development within the unincorporated area of the county is necessary to maintain and improve the quality of life in the county and to protect the health, safety and welfare of its citizens.
(b) This article's use of performance (zoning) standards that encourage flexibility and innovation in the land development process is consistent with the county comprehensive plan.
