§ 34-261. Purpose and intent

The purpose of this division is to provide site development standards applicable to all development activity in the county. The provisions are intended to ensure functional and attractive development. The standards allow for flexibility in site design, while ensuring compatibility of neighboring uses through design features such as landscaped buffers. All development shall be designed to avoid unnecessary impervious surface coverage and adverse effects of traffic, noise and drainage on surrounding properties.
