§ 14-33. Violations; penalties

(a) Any person who violates this article shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction in the magistrate court of the county, shall be punished by a fine in an amount not to exceed $1,000.00 and/or imprisonment in the county jail for a period not in excess of 60 days.

(b) Whenever any provision of this article has been or is being violated, the appropriate county authority, in addition to other remedies, may institute injunction or other appropriate actions or proceedings and prosecute the same to final judgment to correct or abate such violation.
